It just never gets old..

So Snow White, a hippie, and a pirate, walk into bar...
(Actually.. they just walked into a school carnival, a donut party, and a whole lotta streets to trick-or-treat.) By the way.. I do have another child-- he just recently hit his 'too cool for costumes' year.

Kay.. this one made me laugh unusually hard..

Why do I insist on dressing up? (I must have skipped the 'too cool for costumes' year.) I just can't help myself..

Oh. This would be Jasens latest contribution to "holiday traditions". It just ain't Halloween without a little lighter fluid.

We've been waiting all day for the always entertaining Rees family Halloween picture postings. So many points I must make - Darling, darling Sophie; How did Indy Jones turn into a pirate?; Where is Jesse?; Between Jasen's love of fireworks on the 4th and flaming pumpkins, yes I'm a bit concerned. And you are a striking Cleopatra, although I think I'd rather see Bebe in it (no offense, just miss her is all).

I was wondering how that pumpkin got so black--a little lighter fluid intervention explains it all... Love the pic of Jasen with his pumpkin--good to see the animation in him coming out!

cute post! Sophie is so grown up & cute! Seems like just yesterday you were living on Sparrow dr. and I came over and there was your whole family at your halloween party. I think Jasen was Elvis and you told me I HAD to see his costume! good times!

I love, love, love Halloween! Probably because it embraces all my favorites...cute kids, lots of candy, flaming jack-o-lanterns, parties with great games like eating donuts off a string, and lots of caramel apple cider!

You have a child old enough to be too cool for trick or treating?? So sad when that happens. Just wait a few years...he'll jump back on the wagon!

Love the costumes Katy! My Mady was Snow White at that age too. Sophie is darling. And I am loving the Cleopatra costume we had one of those this year too.

So the pumpkins....do you do that before or after the trick-or-treaters?

Flaming pumpkins, awesome. And suddenly in your costume you look just like an actress whose name I cannot think of. No one should ever be too old for costumes...he should just casually dress up in something cool and go trick-or-treating in the name of "helping the younger ones"...then he gets points for being cool, sweet and helpful (and he gets candy still!)

You and Amy must be related--she can't resist costuming up either. Love your kids costumes. Sophie makes a darling princess, of course, and you look really good with black hair and bangs!
