Fa-la-la-la-la!

Look! It's CHRISTMAS!

From a good snow storm..

..to a brand new snow outfit.. (does someone like to pose??)

..to Bo's Christmas Concert

..to TWO Christmas dresses..

Yup. Definitely Christmas.
Now. About the Christmas cards. The following is the picture I used for my Christmas cards..

It seemed O.K. at the time.. but somehow upon shrinking it into a bordered Christmas photo (which I wasn't happy with, so ended up putting in ANOTHER card border. It's jacked up.)I found I resembled an asymmetrical-faced transvestite with fuzzy ocean-air hair.. it really looked freakishly different from the original(as many of you across the miles will be able to enjoy as you recieve copies of it.) Hmmm. Too late to do anything about it now.. and I know its not ALL about the Christmas picture (but it KINDA is..) So this is my disclaimer. To those of you that find my card in your mailbox.. I know. I look a little creepy.. and I should of gone with THIS one..

BUT! It's Christmas! And we're warm and safe and happy.. Sophie dancing around in her bloomers from under her church dress-- singing random Christmas lyrics, presents tucked away hiding in every spare nook and cranny we could find, and a really cute tin of peppermint bark on the counter. So I won't sweat the card. So I'll love that there's snow to look at, and lights lining our little downtown, and treats from neighbors pouring through the door. So fa-la-la-la-la. Merry Cozy Christmas to you.

It looks like you guys are running like crazy!! We must be part of the same insane club, and I don't know who signed me up!! By the way, I love that family picture! And Sophie is cute as a button in both of her christmas dresses!!

Your description of yourself cracked me up--you little asymmetrical-faced transvestite with all your frizzy humidity ocean hair! Thanks for the laugh. The pic of the kids alone is super cute, but you know what all your out-of-town friends would assume if you sent that ("oooh, Katy must have let herself go so she's just sending a pic of just the kids again this year!") Ha! Ha! They would know better.

Take your receipt in to Old Navy to get the price adjustment on the cute bibs (that I am still partly jealous of and partly proud of my self-control I exhibited by NOT getting some)--pretty sure they weren't 60% off back then, but they were on Saturday!

Fun pics...I love the one of the four kids! Hey--I guess I'm not on the Christmas Card list if I'm not even on your friend's blog list (WAH). (ha I'm teasing--we don't give cards to friends nearby--I mean, geez, they see us all the time. But yeah, what's up with not putting my blog back up???) Merry Christmas!

BOTH pictures are adorable! I have no idea what your beef is with the one you sent. Your family is gorgeous and every photo of them is proof of that!

I am so glad you had a cozy, merry christmas. Love ya, cuz!

1. What a yummy, merry, warm Christmas! Love the pics.
2. Speaking of pics, loved yours. You are beautiful, and there is boob-fondeling...and what are the holidays without a little of that?
3. Does Christmas dress number 1 come in my size?
4. I love that your boy was worrying about worrying about car insurance, and I love your response to him even more. You're a good mom.

I like pictures with the whole family in them. It's like your friend said, if you don't get the parents in the picture then you spend the rest of xmas wondering what has happened to make the adults so atrocious! And I totally get the 2 dresses for Sophie...why stop at one when you have a girl that would look so cute in 2? (Chris doesn't understand this theory yet...not because I haven't tried to explain it to him.) Hope your Christmas was wonderful...you said there was peppermint bark, right? Perfect in my opinion.
