Missed Me--Missed Me.. Do Ya Wanna Kiss Me??

I know. You've been on the edge of your computer chair seat.. awaiting my return.
Well.. I'm BACK! Back from a really RADICAL trip (can you tell I was chillin' with my very much younger, and oh-so-much cooler nephews and nieces while ON that trip?? I have now committed myself to using both the words "radical", and "rad" on a regular basis. Hope you enjoy it.)
Back from 12 days of getting to look at, and talk to, and laugh at.. my brothers and sister..

and their darling families.
I'm back from morning jogs to the boardwalk and circuit training on the pool deck overlooking the ocean.
Back from days lounging on the beach next to my hubby..

while my kids roll in the huge, crashing waves.. and dig in the brown-sugar sand.
Back from nights strolling each towns fry-filled boardwalks..
and eating more Grottos pizza and Cream of Crab soup than any 37-year-old with a mediocre metabolism should ever indulge in.

Back from sister time..
..girl time..
and a highlight.. "spa" time!
Back from midnight rounds of 'Celebrity' and 'Charades'..
Candy Kitchen treats out the wa-zoo...
and cousins.

Lots and lots.. of darling.. entertaining.. fun, fun, cousins.
Infact.. RAD cousins.

(they don't actually MAKE these faces in real life.)
Trust me when I say there are at least another 50 shots of those very fun cousins.. but this downloading is gettin' a little tedious-- and my kids would appreciate my attention at SOME point today.. so I'll stop. But ya get the idea.
So for now.. though I loved every minute of it.. I'll just be back. Back to ortho appointments.. football practice taxi.. and watering our dying lawn. Back to laundry, and bills, and our busted bumper. (Oh yeah. Did I mention Jasens fender bender before leaving?? No injuries.. other than.. um.. the bumper.) So even though I would go BACK.. in an INSTANT even.. it's always good to BE back. Back to our town, and streets, and friends, and home. Back to our own pillows and blankets. Back to bed before 3am (well.. for the most part..) and eating fruit on a regular basis.

And back to hearing about all of your own summer adventures through the beautiful world of blog.
Happy sporadic summer posting to all.

I didn't even know you were gone, but so glad you are back! :-) It's so fun to have summer vacations and catch up with family. I love the beach on the east coast (I grew up back there). Enjoy getting back into the swing of things and getting ready for school to start--wah!

You DO realize that you guys are possibly the most beautiful family to ever be created on this earth, right? And I love you all to pieces and want to be with you and hang out with you and be related to you (Oh wait, RAD, I am!) and copy your darling and unique color options for pictures...really, most of the world has no creativity in that particular area...you guys are always cutting edge and hip!!!

Yeah! I love a good vacation post! :) And again, I love this picture of you and Kristy too, sisters are the best!

Glad you made it home safe, back to reality. Not sure I'm ready for all that awaits me there--a dying lawn I'm sure, flowers LONG gone, weeds fluorishing, and the email count is up to 250...ugh! (Luckily not ALL of those are annoyed students!) Getting tired just thinking of it. Time to go back down to the ocean and lay there for a while. Like I've done all day...ahhhhhhhhhhhhh (that's a sigh, not a yell!)

Oh, the HUMANITY!!! If I could be even a pesky fly on the wall at a Jolly beach gathering...but then there can't be pesky flies among such beautiful people and in such a beautiful place! I second the notion that you are an incredibly beautiful [and FUN and FUNNY] group of people. Glad I get to claim a small part of your blood. Now I just sound like a creepy vampire of some sort. I love you all--and LOVE the pics. Gorgeous! I want to sit and look at the pictures with you and go through each person and you tell me all about what's going on with them. Sigh.

I'm realizing that I have no concept of when or how to use the word "rad". Can I still be in the club? Fabulous vacation...beautiful people...stunning family portraits...amazing bucket of fries...cute, cute kids...it just sounds like my kind of people. Thank you for sharing your vacation...I'd like to sign up for the pesky fly thing for next year!
